Late Winter Yin Yoga
an Evening Practice
Friday 1st March
The Hub, Mulberry Park, Comb Down
End the week and begin the weekend with a Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra practice to smooth the rough edges and take you back to the simple experience of being. Yin yoga is a floor-based practice where we take a series of poses each for 4-6 minutes, holding in stillness at our appropriate edge.
In this way, the practice becomes a meditative experience and is not always easy. It is challenging to be still with your mind and in a pose where the tissues of the body may be calling to you! But deep change requires a deep practice.
And we round off our practice with a 30 minute Yoga Nidra (deep, led relaxation) and a homemade raw energy bomb to see you on your way :-)
This practice is suitable to anyone with any level of experience and we use props to make the poses accesible. All kit is provided.
The Hub is a relatively new venue in Combe Down with beautiful floor to ceiling windows and a calm vibe.
I look forward to welcoming you there to my first evening yin class of the year. I plan on holding one for each season. Other dates will be announced later in the year.
