About

People often ask what style of yoga I teach. The simplest
answer is “modern yoga”, which is really a hybrid of all sorts of styles. We
all feel different every day, and our bodies can do different things every day,
and at different stages of our lives.

To me, it’s so important to respect that. In my classes I
want to create an environment where you can be mindful of your body’s movements
and needs in that moment. I will guide you through our practice together,
helping you with adjustments if you’d like them, and giving you options to make
the sequences more or less active or challenging.

All my classes are calming and taken at a slower pace, but
that’s not to say they can’t also be demanding!

I continue to learn about new styles of yoga, breath work
and meditation and incorporate elements of these into my classes.

I’m especially interested in encouraging a yoga practice
that will help you stay active, mobile and healthy for longer. Our bodies are
amazing things and including some regular, appropriate yoga in your life can do so
much to improve your future mobility and longevity.

I also teach pregnancy and postnatal classes, teach weekly online classes and monthly online Yin Yoga classes. I hold seasonal yoga celebrations in a beautiful yurt on the outskirts of Bath, and bi-monthly Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra classes.

I’m married with three children and three cats. When I’m not
teaching yoga, I enjoy walking and running in the surrounding countryside, gardening, outdoor swimming and camping, cooking and drinking martinis and coffee (often decaf these days) and spending time with my family.

Please do get in touch if you have any questions or want to
chat about which is the right class for you.
